the pjp family experience

"Family is not the most important thing. It's everything."

-Michael J. Fox

Little feet have their own ideas, and that’s exactly how we like it. They’re free to run, laugh, tumble, and be entirely themselves during our time together. We choose spaces with room to explore, hug, walk, snuggle, and play, so every spontaneous moment can unfold naturally. The result is a collection of images filled with laughter, love, and the tiny gestures that make your family uniquely yours.

All families are built from love. From the quiet wonder of maternity moments to the joyful chaos of extended gatherings with great-grandchildren, every chapter is full of laughter, hugs, and stories waiting to be told. I’m here to capture those moments with intention, preserving the connection, joy, and love that make your family uniquely yours.

Imagine a cozy gathering, filled with warmth and laughter, with a camera quietly alongside to catch it all. Bring your family, enjoy the time together, and we’ll capture the smiles, the glances, and the little moments that become treasures you’ll return to again and again.

Look What Love Creates

you forget the camera is even there.

My Goal:

Standing in front of a big ol’ camera can feel a little awkward, (I know the feeling!) so our sessions are designed to help you relax and simply enjoy being together. We guide gently, offer encouragement, and capture the moments that truly tell your family’s story. Hugs from little ones, piggyback rides between dad and child, belly laughs from tickle games, and quiet glances that speak volumes. By the end, you will have images that do more than show your family. They make you feel the love you share, moments you will return to again and again. Our mission is to preserve your family’s story through joyful, heartfelt photographs while making sure you feel seen, cared for, and celebrated every step of the way.

About those little ones:

"The perfect part was not just the photos, but also the easy way she made us feel at ease, special and cared for."

We are so thankful for Pam. We have been lucky to have her capture so many important moments in our family’s life. For us, it began with photos of my youngest daughter’s wedding that I can visualize even as I write this. The perfect part was not just the photos but also the easy way she made us feel at ease, special and cared for. She was careful to get all the important shots while capturing the many emotions of the family. My granddaughter's photo session followed with such perfection I can’t even describe. If you are looking for a photographer that goes way beyond the standard, you have found her. Like our family and extended family, we know you will want her to document the many joys in your life. Her smile lights up the occasion.

We just wanted to tell you how much we loved our family pictures. From all of us in front of our door or laughing on the lawn, the children alone or hugging, the couples shots, the family shots...we “oohed and ahhed” all the way through our gallery! You really captured our personalities in a fun way. We have kept the gallery page open all afternoon, and we just keep going back and looking and enjoying!!

"We “oohed and ahhed” all the way through our gallery!"

"She let us set the pace and Pam captured some terrific candid moments in between beautifully posed images."

Pam took pictures of our extended family for my in laws 50th Anniversary trip. Pam was quick to respond and suggested a great place. Having two photographers was great! It helped keep one part of the group occupied while the other ventured off for another location AND made for some great pictures, too! With 3 small toddlers, she let us set the pace and Pam captured some terrific candid moments in between beautifully posed images. Pam even showed my 6 year old how to take a picture with her camera! She worked with us to get exactly what we wanted! I highly recommend her!!

"I cannot thank Pam enough for the wonderful family photos she captured for us."

She did such an amazing job! Pam was great at communicating with us before and after our shoot. While taking our photos, she was amazing at improvising with two small children and their meltdowns. And she got our photos back to us very quickly, along with a fun facebook preview while we waited. I would recommend Pam to anyone and will be back for another family photo session soon!

YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY

When you invite me to document your family’s love, you also get to meet my love, my husband, Ted. We work together to capture your family in a way that feels natural and full of connection. While I guide you into flattering poses, Ted quietly captures alternate views and those little in-between moments that tell the story of your family. Ted is not only my favorite human, he’s also a brilliant conversationalist, a trusty prop-carrier, and the master of “funny noises to get the babies looking.” Together, we create galleries filled with the classic smiles that everyone loves, as well as the candid moments that make your heart smile when you look back years from now.

Meet Pam and Ted

How do you approach getting genuine smiles from your clients?

It’s not about you connecting with my camera, but connecting with your loved ones, so we create an environment where that connection can organically happen. I want my clients to leave the session with a full heart, so when they look at their images, they will remember the love they share.

Is there a time limit for my portrait session?

No, I won’t be looking at my watch during our session! We shoot around 2 hours before sunset, so the only time limit we have is when we lose that beautiful light or when all agree we’ve completely captured your love!

Wait, you say you bring a second shooter?

Yes, I sure do, AND it’s someone I adore…my hubby! Yep, not only does he help with carrying props, he captures alternate views and those candid, in-between moments of connection we all love! (And you get to meet my awesome husband!)

What do we do if it rains on our session day?

We all know Mother Nature is kinda silly, so we schedule two days on the calendar for all portrait sessions. That way, you are already on my books JUST in case she acts up on your primary day!

Do you offer products in addition to digitals?

Yes! I’m a HUGE fan of clients owning heirloom products they can hold in their hands and pass down to future generations. You’ll have a chance to purchase those in my on-line store attached to your gallery, and I am MORE than happy to design an album for you!

Do you help in the planning process?

Yes! I am happy to weigh in on location and wardrobe selections for portrait sessions using my expertise in identifying good light and color coordination!

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU TAKE?

Checks or cash are accepted and are payable at the time of the portrait session. Once you receive your gallery, you are always welcome to upgrade your package.

At the end of your session, you will leave with love in your heart and a smile on your face! When we work together, my goal is to create an effortless and joyful photographic experience, so you can focus on the love that brings everyone together. I create intentional, heartfelt, handcrafted imagery that's meant to be displayed throughout your home as a reminder of those closest to your heart.
